Thousand Lights Mosque (Tamil: ஆயிரம் விளக்கு மசூதி) , a beautiful multi domed mosque located at Anna Salai in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India is one of the largest mosques in the country and is a revered place of worship for Muslims. It was built by Nawab Umdat-ul-Umrah in the year 1810.
Tamil Nadu legislative assembly-secretariat complex also known as the Omandurar Government Estate is a complex of buildings constructed at Government estate grounds off Anna Salai in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The building when completely constructed will house the assembly hall, secretariat and offices of the chief minister and cabinet ministers. The last session in the old assembly building at Fort St. George was held on January 11, 2010. The complex is named after O. P. Ramaswamy Reddiyar.
DMK's current head office built in 1987 is named as Anna Arivalayam. One of the major roads in Chennai was named in Annadurai honour, Anna Salai--it was previously called Mount Road, and a statue of Annadurai now stands there.

Anna Flyover (aka Gemini Flyover) (Tamil: அண்ணா மேம்பாலம்) , lies in the heart of Chennai. Opened in 1973, it was the first flyover in the country and in Chennai. Its main purpose is to allow traffic movement on Mount Road — now renamed Anna Salai — near Nungambakkam High Road (Uthamar Gandhi Salai) to continue unhindered by the cross traffic.
