The tagline adopted for promoting tourism in Tamil Nadu is Enchanting Tamil Nadu. Approximately 1,753,000 foreign and 50,647,000 domestic tourists visited the state in 2007. Along with the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu draws the maximum number of tourists in India
